Why should I attend a ReproScan Training Course? We’re glad you asked! Training is at the heart of what we do here at ReproScan, and we work hard to make sure that our customers walk away excited and confident from each course. The course will cover ultrasound basics, pregnant/open, fetal aging, as well as coaching on extension arm technique. These courses are a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with highly-trained instructors.
Tips for a Successful Preg Checking Season
ReproScan delivers simple, durable, and affordable ultrasound technology—backed by outstanding customer service and hands-on training. How do you get the most data out of preg-checking? Timing matters. To get the clearest, most accurate results, make sure your cows are presented in the right window: 45–90 days bred is the sweet spot for accuracy—especially if you’re determining AI vs. bull-bred pregnancies. Scanning under 100 days offers the most reliable fetal aging. During this phase, you can also identify fetal death loss and multiples, giving you better information to guide management decisions.

Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control & Repair Technician Location: Winterset, IA Overview: ReproScan Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control & Repair Technician. This position plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse — managing shipments, inspecting products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with repairs and equipment testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. This role requires extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team environment.
Settings Tip: Frame Rate
Are you using your ultrasound for more than just bovine repro—maybe scanning a dog or an equine neck? If so, you may want to take a moment to adjust your settings. Small changes can make a big difference in image quality, and one important setting to look at is frame rate. Frame rate in ultrasound refers to how many images (frames) the system captures and displays each second. Increasing the frame rate can produce smoother, more real-time motion, which is especially helpful for applications outside of standard repro work.
