Merry Christmas from Elle

The days are getting shorter and, as much as I wish I could, winter is no longer deniable. For many, this means extra layers, challenging farm calls, and longer chores. We understand; and we are here to support you. This time of year, it may just be a friendly reminder to carry an extra “hot hand” to put near your ultrasound and in the back of your monitor bag when its freezing, or to answer my favorite question, “So Elle, I have to ultrasound a (insert your favorite farm animal/exotic here) and I’m not exactly sure how to do that. Any suggestions?” Either way, we love to hear from you and hope that you call with questions.

Around Christmas time, I like to take a moment to reflect on the past year. My grandma always told me, “Elle, you know, the older you get the faster it goes.” and she was not wrong. This year has flown by! I want to say, “Thank YOU” for your business. I love what I do because I think we have the most amazing customers. I genuinely enjoy learning about you and your business. We appreciate you trusting us to be your ultrasound partner. Customer service is very important to us, and I hope that our team has served you well this year.

Here at ReproScan, highlights of 2022 include:

• Supporting our bovine-focused vet students. We continue to be overwhelmed with training requests and externship requests by bovine or mixed-animal vet students and we want to help. As a result, we have been all over teaching and helping to support a hands-on learning experience for students.
• Focusing on completely revising our goggles, which resulted in launching the new OjO v4. While we kept the OjO name, (because OjO—two eyes and a nose—who doesn’t love the look of the word?), these are completely different goggles. Personally, these are my favorite goggles ReproScan has ever had. If you know me, or have heard me teach, you know I am a monitor person through and through, but if I have to be mobile, these are much brighter and less occlusive.
• Training. Personally, I LOVE our CE training courses! We are revamping our 2023 course listing and continuing to add more courses across the United States. We will kick January off with an amazing location in Maui, Hawaii; the host ranch alone is worth coming to see how they run a commercial cow-calf operation in Maui.
